Managers who are able to initiate change, learn from their experiences and adapt to a changing environment will survive and be successful in the challenging arena of dynamic organisational practices. This course examines organisational change and the interrelatedness of internal and external environments, structure, technology, size and function of organisations. Managers' roles and responsibilities in relation to change are discussed, in addition to the roles of change agents, intervention strategies and theoretical and practical approaches to managing problems and issues faced by managers.
