HLTH20008 Using Casemix Data for Decision Support

Now that casemix funding is in use in most States together with associated information systems, it is imperative that students learn how to use this information for improved decision making. This applies to both clinicians and managers as casemix systems rely on clinical data which are related to financial data. Improved performance will be dependent upon the collaboration between clinicians and managers and their use of information.
