COIT11134 Programming B

This course develops more advanced computer programs using the structured programming method in the C++ language. As well as expanding their knowledge of the C++ language, students will expand their skills in analysis of problems described in very general terms, algorithm development and transformation into well organised C++ programs using the method of functional decomposition. Specific topics include: enumerated types, overloading input and output operators, classes, function and data members, constructors, friend functions, arrays, linear and binary searching, selection sort and quicksort, analysis of algorithms, pointers, new and delete, class and copy constructors, class destructor, linked lists, stacks and queues, and operating system services.
