This program has been established to produce a graduate capable of designing and drafting residential buildings and commercial buildings up to three storeys high. The program has been produced in close consultation with the Building Designers Association of Australia. Prospective students are encouraged to talk to the Program Coordinator about exemptions from the program based on previous study or professional experience. The Faculty has established sets of exemptions for holders of TAFE qualifications.
A normal part-time load is 12 units of credit for terms 2 and 3, and 6 units of credit in term 5. You should note prerequisite requirements and term availability (in this Handbook) when constructing your program in liaison with the Program Coordinator. It is suggested that you study the courses in order of level.
