Program Structure
To satisfy the requirements of this award, students must complete four courses or 32 units of credit as outlined below. Students must undertake two core courses - a compulsory course 'Theories and Concepts of Sustainable Development', and one from a choice of two of 'Models of Sustainable Development' or 'Thinking Systemically and Sustainably'. Two courses are also to be taken from any of the three streams (a choice, that is, of two courses from a selection of 12). To provide a foundational basis, the two core courses must be taken before, or concurrently with, others. There is no residential school for any course.
Course aims, topics covered and assessment overview are detailed at http://www.isrd.cqu.edu.au/isrd/awards/pages/fs.htm.
