The program is intended for experienced professional educators (managers/principals) and an open access policy applies for entry. Forty percent of quota places in the Graduate Certificate in Education are allocated to female applicants.
Entry to the program requires satisfactory experience in an appropriate educational setting. To be eligible for this program, a student must have completed a Bachelor of Education (or an equivalent qualification) or have satisfied the Dean, Faculty of Education & Creative Arts, of their competence to undertake the program on the basis of an equivalent qualification. Students who complete this program may continue on to a Master's degree by coursework, receiving credit for 50% of that degree.
