SOWK13008  Contemporary Social Policy

The pluralistic definitions of social policy are presented. The scope of welfare policy construction, political processes, planning and the directives that shape formulation and guidance of social programs is explored. Selected social policy content will be analysed using the development of critical problem-solving skills for social policy analysis.
