neurophysiological and neuroanatomical aspects of central nervous
system structure and functioning. This knowledge is then applied
for the purpose of understanding human behaviour through the study
of neurons and neural networks, neuroanatomy, the visual and auditory
sensory systems, motor activity and sleep. Methods of studying the
central nervous system are also discussed. It is a requirement of
enrolment in the course that students have access to the Internet.
