MUSC14060  Ensemble III

Completion of this course will develop advanced skills, knowledge and understandings of ensemble work gained in Ensemble II, and by working with various instrumental and vocal groups including choirs, acappella vocal ensembles, orchestras and homogeneous and heterogeneous instrumental ensembles. Students will acquire practical performance skills and knowledge within ensemble over an extended time frame to allow for the development of negotiated and shared musical understandings and interpretations. Students will also engage with the notion of music performance through the required attendance at and review of concert performances which will develop an awareness of the relationships between the processes of rehearsing and the outcomes.
