INDG19015 Aboriginal Cultures & the
Land
This course examines Aboriginal cultures and
their relationships with the land. Topics include the study of social
organisations, beliefs and value systems, human ecology and human-land
relationships, and contemporary land issues. A theme of cultures adapting
to the changing natural and human environments is developed throughout
the course. A feature of this course is its use of perspectives
and commentaries by Aboriginal persons which will accompany each
major topic.
