ENEL13142  Signals & Systems 2

This course and ENEL12089   Signals & Systems 1 aim to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of signal and system theory and some of its engineering applications. The emphasis is on deterministic signals and systems. Since this theory is mathematically based some mathematical ideas are introduced however heuristic rather than rigorous mathematical proofs are used. Topics include linear time - invariant continuous time system modelling and responses, how mathematical transforms can be used to simplify system analysis, signal representation, some signal and system theory applications.
