Fire Protection - causes of fire, human behaviour, roles of professional and the legislative authority. Fire Services - sprinklers, detectors, alarms, extinguishers, smoke control. Smoke Control - isolated exits, smoke venting, exhaust systems, pressurised systems. Drainage - waste and soil systems, rainwater. Gas Services - services and requirements. Ventilation - toilet exhaust, mechanical vibration, intake and discharge locations; duct work and dampers.
