BLAR12002  Construction I

This course aims to introduce students to the construction and technology of domestic housing or other dwellings which fall within Class 1 of the Building Code of Australia. It will also examine the constraints placed on construction of such dwellings by Australian building and consumer law, basic concepts of quality management applied to domestic construction and the effects of Australian technology on domestic construction outside Australia.
