ARTS19015 Bachelor of Arts (Honours)
F/time A All disciplines other than Psychology
Honours consists of one full-time year of study
made up of coursework, research and dissertation. The coursework
component will constitute 50% of the total assessment.
The coursework is made up of studies in the discipline chosen including
some theoretical content. Each component will constitute equally
toward the overall assessment. The remaining 50% of assessment
will be a research project resulting in a dissertation. The dissertation
will consist of a single piece of research scholarship of between
15000 and 25000 words of text, excluding appendices. The research
or scholarly work will be conducted under the supervision of a member
of the discipline staff on a topic which will be approved by the
Faculty at the commencement of the Honours year.
