ENMM20021  Introduction to Process Engineering

Topics to be covered in this course include: Review of fundamental concepts of physical and chemical processes (material properties, chemistry, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics); development of descriptive equations for process engineering and course operations; safety legislation and safe operating principles in industrial processes; environmental legislation in industrial processes and integration with plant management.
