Master of Education (Professional)

The Master of Education (Professional) is designed to meet the needs of educators and trainers with interests in adding a research dimension to their professional practice. The program is comprised of a number of research tasks.

Entry Requirements

• Completion of an Honours degree in a relevant discipline.
• Completion of a Pass degree and a graduate diploma at a high level of academic performance
• Completion of a Pass degree at a high level of academic performance plus one year's relevant work experience
• Completion of a four-year undergraduate degree at a high level of academic performance
• Qualifications deemed to be equivalent to any of the above

Applicants who do not satisfy any of the above criteria may be required to undertake a Masters qualifying program.

Program Structure

To complete the program, a candidate will normally study for an expected period of 2 years (full-time) or 4 years (part-time). Candidates for the Master of Education (Professional) undertake research tasks in the area of education and training in consultation with their Supervisor prior to submitting their research proposal. New candidates may enrol at any time of year.
