The program aims to:

  • provide all students with a range of experiences that will enable them to conceptualise, plan, manage, produce and effectively manage within arts administration context;
  • ensure that theoretical prospectuses and management skills are integral to, embedded in and articulated throughout all courses such as that the fundamental relationships between administrative and business planning are connected to arts administration practices;
  • meet the need for arts administrators who work within a range of sites and production/performance contexts which demand a range of administrative leadership and business skills;
  • prepare award students to approach further postgraduate study;
  • engage students in a range of practices across related areas of arts management and allied support garnerning (funding) activities;
  • produce versatile arts administrators who are capable of operating across a range of contexts with the arts and entertainment industry.
