WRIT19017  Creative Writing

This course will not be offered after 2001.This course considers the basic elements of experience, imagination, and the formal variables of writing. The student discusses and practices various aspects of writing in verse and prose, including narration, description, plot, structure, point of view and characterization. Students are required to work on a longer project in verse, prose or drama as well as to produce weekly exercises.
