HMSC19032  Independent Study

Students will undertake an investigative project and present the findings in both written and oral format. The course will involve a comprehensive reading and/or research program in an area of concentration culminating in a specific primary research based study and comprehensive report. A final written submission is expected. Students must also present a conference paper or a seminar to peers, academic staff and/or professional colleagues. The study must build upon previous undergraduate study and extend the student’s knowledge and understanding in a selected area.
