HMSC13021 Advanced Biomechanics
Advanced Biomechanics will introduce the student
to theoretical and practical information to assist the student in
his/her understanding of the broad implications of biomechanics
for research and the application of current biomechanical concepts in
the field of human movement sciences. Students will gain knowledge
with advanced biomechanical measurement techniques involving movement
and technique analysis, force-posture relationships, investigation
of dynamic muscular parameters, electromyography and rehabilitation
of subjects with a neuro-muscular history.
