ENPR14011 Dissertation A
The purpose of this course is to prepare students
who are in the seventh term of their program for a design and/or
research-based project which closely approximates that which occurs in
industry. The project should integrate many of the technical components
of the degree program, and also requires them to plan, execute and
report a project in a professionally competent manner, while developing their
expertise in the projects discipline area. Students are
expected to:
- have formed a suitable
problem definition for their project
- have extracted relevant information from all available
sources (including all forms of information technology, client and colleague
expertise, and trade literature)
- have planned and scheduled their project as a major
engineering project
The major project will be undertaken in the eighth term, ENPR14012 - Dissertation B.
