ENPR14007 Project Preparation
The purpose of this course is to prepare students
for a design and/or research-based project. The project
should integrate many of the technical components of the degree
program, and also requires them to plan, execute and report a project
in a professionally competent manner, while developing their expertise
in the projects discipline area. Students who wish to
receive an honours degree must choose a project with a significant
research focus (in addition to satisfying GPA requirement for Honours).
Students are expected to:
- have formed
a suitable problem definition for their project
- have extracted relevant information from all available
sources (including all forms of information technology, client and colleague
expertise, and trade literature)
- have planned and scheduled their project as a major
engineering project
The major project will be completed in the final term, in
the course ENPR14008 project Implementation.
