MDWF20004  The Childbearing Family at Risk

This course discusses the concepts of the child bearing family at risk during the antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and early stages of childhood. The dysfunctional family is looked at in detail as is the use of technology in the at risk situation. The final component brings together all aspects of this course and also looks at future developments in midwifery.
