HLTC20010  Targeting Special Needs Groups

This course has been designed to assist individuals to gain a basic understanding of some of the constraints and barriers that restrict certain groups of people in the community from accessing and utilising the health services they require. The course is also designed to encourage students to identify and develop positive health strategies with the intent of aiding these same groups. The course is available as an elective to all postgraduate students in the Health Sciences area.
