Program Overview

The Certificate of Music provides a recognised form of training in various aspects of music for students wishing to obtain a foundation qualification. The course carries specific credits toward study in the Bachelor of Music Theatre, Bachelor of Music/Performing Arts, Bachelor of Jazz Studies program.

Program Structure

To satisfy the requirements of the award, students must complete 4 courses or 24 units of credit as outlined below.

Generally students are required to structure their course from the following courses; however, other Conservatorium courses may be included in the program after consultation with the course advisor. Not all courses are offered each year.

Please note that full-time students usually enrol in four courses per term and part-time students usually enrol in two courses per term per term.
