Due date for 2014 applications for the Master of Clinical Psychology is 30 September 2013.

Entry requirements

  • The Master in Clinical Psychology program is designed for four year graduates who have completed an accredited four year program in psychology and who wish to complete an accredited Master in Clinical Psychology program at the year 5 - 6 level.
  • The level of Honours and Grade Point Averages will be taken into account.
  • Applicants must have completed an accredited fourth year in psychology.
  • Supply a certified copy of academic transcript.
  • A cover letter outlining applicants expectations of the program, reasons for entry and including qualities that make you a suitable candidate for clinical psychology training.
  • Two references, one academic reference preferable but not mandatory

  • A CV that includes:
    • Employment and other relevant experience (including voluntary), particularly those pertinent to training in clinical psychology.
    • Research experience and accomplishments.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview, with an interview panel comprised of at least 2 academic staff of the Masters program along with other stakeholder participants.
  • Accepted applicants will be required to provide original degree certificates and certified transcripts as per the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council guidelines.

Computing requirements

It is a requirement of enrolment in this program that students have access to the CQUniversity website. Students may be required to undertake various components of study in the program using email and the Internet.
