HonoursCG46 - Associate Degree of Learning Design
Program Aim
The Associate Degree of Learning Design enables students to:
- Employ theories and practices appropriate for the management of learning in the emergent training sector.
- Implement theories and practices appropriate for teaching in the changing environments in training sectors.
- Engage in the professional work of industry trainers no matter where they are located, including the socio-ethical, legal and security issues in such settings.
- Be capable of teaching and learning work in a range of operational and management positions within the education and training sectors.
- Diagnose, analyse, design, plan and implement the management and evaluation of learning programs, including effective teaching and learning strategies, curriculum construction and assessment/evaluation procedures.

Effectively communicate with other professionals and the wider community on learning matters
Program Structure
The program consists of 16 courses/96 units of credit.
Applicants who possess a base trade qualification/paraprofessional training/qualification to AQF Level 3 and can demonstrate substantial experience that demonstrates the facility of the learning of others may be eligible to obtain advanced standing towards this program.
Credit is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
