CB92 - Graduate Certificate in Education

Program Aim
The Graduate Certificate in Education is designed to provide registered teachers with specialist knowledge and skills in nominated areas of specialisation.  This program builds on conceptual knowledge, understanding and skills, developed at an undergraduate level, of issues that influence implementation of curriculum and pedagogy and desired educational outcomes.
Program Structure

To graduate with a Graduate Certificate in Education students must complete four compulsory coursework courses (32 units of credit) in their area of specialisation.

 

  • Early Childhood
  • Special Education
  • Executive Leadership
  • Educational Multimedia
  • Professional Education
  • Middle Schooling
  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
  • Simulation Technology and Learning

 

In 2013, only the Early Childhood, Special Education and Executive Leadership majors will be available.  Depending on interest, other majors may be available.  If you are in interested in another major, please Ask a Program Advisor
