Program Structure
This program is aimed at the education of students in all aspects of the geosciences. It develops knowledge in geological processes that sculpted the earth and provides an understanding of geological resources below the earth's surface (metals, minerals, coal, oil, gas, and construction materials). The major geological structures are classified and interpreted to assist in the development of mechanisms for accessing and extracting resources.
