CG45 - Diploma of Learning Design

Program Aim

  

The Diploma of Learning Design enables students to:

  • Utilise theories and practices appropriate for the design of learning in the Vocational Education and Training sector (VET)

  • Identify theories and practices appropriate for teaching in the VET sector.

  • Participate and evaluate learning programs at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) levels 1-6, including effective teaching and learning strategies, curriculum construction and assessment/evaluation procedures.

  • Undertake the professional work of trainers/teachers in a VET organisation.

  • Diagnose, analyse, design and plan, the implementation of learning programs within the sector.

  • Communicate with other professionals and the wider community on learning matters.

Program Structure

 

The Diploma of Learning Design is an undergraduate program that can be completed in 1 year full-time study or equivalent. The program consists of 8 courses (48 units of credit).
