Program Aim
The Diploma of Learning Design enables students to:
-
Utilise theories and practices appropriate for the design of learning in the Vocational Education and Training sector (VET)
-
Identify theories and practices appropriate for teaching in the VET sector.

Participate and evaluate learning programs at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) levels 1-6, including effective teaching and learning strategies, curriculum construction and assessment/evaluation procedures.

Undertake the professional work of trainers/teachers in a VET organisation.

Diagnose, analyse, design and plan, the implementation of learning programs within the sector.

Communicate with other professionals and the wider community on learning matters.
Program Structure
The Diploma of Learning Design is an undergraduate program that can be completed in 1 year full-time study or equivalent. The program consists of 8 courses (48 units of credit).
