CB86 - Bachelor of Podiatry Practice (Honours)

Program Aim
The aim of the Bachelor of Podiatry Practice (Honours) program is to provide high quality tertiary education involving extensive theoretical and clinical experience that will develop graduates with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to commence practice as a podiatrist.
Program Structure
The Bachelor of Podiatry Practice (Honours) program is offered at Rockhampton campus. Students displaying exceptional academic and clinical achievement during the first two years of their program may be invited in their third year to enrol in an embedded honours program. Students enrolled in the honours program will complete a range of assessable research tasks that reflect their emerging capacity to engage in research activities and to achieve the designated learning outcomes in each course in line with the AQF Level 8 criteria. Students therefore have opportunity to build upon the knowledge gained in the Pass program and to develop techniques for further study at the higher degree level. The pathway accrues the same number of credit points as the pass level program and will run co-currently with the pass level program
