The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to build on the knowledge gained in the Graduate Certificate in order to increase their breadth and depth of knowledge and application of skills in the area of water resources management.  The wide variety of specialised coursework and study options enable students to create a program of study that meets their individual needs.

Individual courses are delivered by a mix of the universities through the ICE WaRM portal using various technologies such as online delivery or the Access Grid depending upon the student enrolment. 

To be eligible for the degree, students are required to complete a total of 8 courses, of which 4 are core courses and 4 are elective courses from the Streams 1-6.
