How to Apply | Domestic students - Each year a small number of students who demonstrate exceptional academic and clinical achievement during the first two years of their program may be invited in their third year to enrol in an honours stream of their degree and complete a modified study pathway with an emphasis on developing their research skills in the remaining terms of the program. This pathway accrues the same number of credit points as the pass level program.
International students direct to the University - Each year a small number of students who demonstrate exceptional academic and clinical achievement during the first two years of their program may be invited in their third year to enrol in an honours stream of their degree and complete a modified study pathway with an emphasis on developing their research skills in the remaining terms of the program. Entry Requirements | A GPA of 5.5 or more over all courses by end of term 2 Year 2. Recommendation from the discipline lead that the student demonstrates the ability and maturity to undertake a challenging extended research pathway Student commitment to an allocated inter-professional research project topic. Availability of suitable supervisors. Should there be a limit on this availability the highest performing students will receive first offers |

Practicum/Work placement | Program involves extensive clinical work placements and opportunities as an integral part of the program please refer to More Details The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) involves extensive fieldwork education which is embedded into the program. During the second year of the program students will be required to undertake up to 10 days of fieldwork visits. In both the third and fourth years students are expected to undertake a 12 week placement. In the final term of the program students are required to undertake around 150 hours of community placement. Overall students will be required to undertake a minimum of 1000 hours of fieldwork education. |
