About Research Higher Degrees

A research higher degree is a program of supervised research and study leading to the preparation of a thesis.  The holder of a research higher degree will have submitted to a thesis which examiners have declared to have provided a contribution to knowledge and demonstrated the candidate's capacity to carry out independent research.
Research is an integral part of CQUniversity's purpose.  There is a strong commitment to the conduct of cutting-edge research in new areas which challenge the boundaries of the traditional disciplines to provide distinctive research opportunities and solutions for staff, candidates and sponsors.
