To meet the entry requirements for this program, students must have one of the following:-

A 4 year undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution; or

A 3 year undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution plus recognised prior learning (RPL) involving continuous professional development as evidenced by at least one of:-

• significant contribution to industry;
• promotion in the workplace;
• recognition by a professional body;
• community/industry leadership;
• receipt of significant prizes and/or awards;
• personal references that attest to the applicant's high level performance in the workplace/industry/community; or
• publications/patents/copyright.

A masters qualifying period may be necessary for some students.

Registered three year trained teachers wishing to undertake studies for four-year status are encouraged to complete the Master of Education program as completing a Graduate Certificate in Education does not qualify for granting four-year status for three year trained teachers seeking this upgrade.
