Professional Accreditation | The clinical specialisation within the program has received preliminary approval with the Council of Ambulance Authorities (CAA). The provisional accreditation process is currently underway for both the clinical and the EMS Occupational Health and Safety specialisation. Residential School | There are several compulsory residential schools/workshops attached to the following program when taken in the EXTERNAL mode. See More Details for more information. |
Practicum/Work placement | Students will be required to undertake a minimum of 15 weeks (600 hours) of compulsory off-campus clinical placements during the program as well as an orientation program by the Queensland Ambulance Service. Students will be provided with over 1000 hours of simulation training focussing on real world patient conditions through high fidelity simulation. |
