Professional Accreditation | The combined program of Bachelor of Medical Sonography and Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography has been accredited by the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR). Both parts of the program must be completed to gain accreditation. This is the first accredited program of its kind in Australia which allows applicants the opportunity to study Sonography without having first taken another degree. |
Residential School | There are several first year courses that include compulsory residential schools/workshops attached to the following program when taken in the EXTERNAL mode. See Residential School |
Practicum/Work placement | Students will need to attend a total of 62 weeks of full time clinical study in the workplace. As placements are located throughout multiple states and assigned by the program, students will need to make the required personal and financial plans to relocate for these placements. |
