Entry Requirements

 

Applicants who have turned 18 in the year of enrolment, and who are Australian or New Zealand citizens or hold permanent resident or humanitarian visas.

 

Applicants will be required to undertake:

  • a diagnostic entrance test for literacy, numeracy and computing competence; and
  • an individual interview.

This assessment will guide the planning of an individual program of study which will meet the minimum entry requirements for the CQUniversity undergraduate program of choice.

Program Duration

 

1 term (12 weeks) full-time (3 - 4 courses) or 2 terms (24 weeks) part-time (1 - 2 courses).  A maximum of 2 years (6 terms) for completion of required courses.

Recommended Study Plan

 

Part time study involves 1-2 courses per term equating to 12-24 hours per week.  This study mode is recommended for students who are working full time or if it has been a while since they last studied.

 

Full time study involves 3-4 courses per term, equating to 36-48 hours per week.  This study mode is not recommended for students who are working full time or are at home caring for young children.
