By studying the Bachelor of Tourism, students will have the opportunity to enter a variety of careers in the tourism industry - accommodation, events, tourist attractions, transport, or hospitality. The strong emphasis on marketing expertise also offers entry into marketing careers. The program provides a flexible degree pathway, offering a diverse range of courses that will provide you with the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills relating to the modern tourism environment.

About the Bachelor of Tourism

Through the Bachelor of Tourism, students will develop expertise in tourism management and marketing and an understanding of key consumer segments in tourism, such as events, special interest tourism, nature-based tourism and resort and hotel management. In addition to this, students will learn key foundations of marketing communications and strategy, and tourism policy and planning that are essential for government tourism organisations. This program utilises a globally relevant tourism curriculum to ensure students have the skills and knowledge to succeed in the tourism industry locally or internationally.
