Exemptions from Overseas Qualifications
Please note that the Australian Computer Society's Pre-Application Skills Assessment (PASA) Guidelines for Applications states that no advanced standing, credit or exemption given on the basis of qualifications from overseas will be considered in relation to an Australian Graduate Diploma or higher degree qualification.
Please contact the Program Advisor before applying for or accepting credit into this program for courses completed at an institution outside of Australia.
Part-Time Program of Study
In formulating their program of study candidates who are studying part-time by distance education should give consideration to their work and other commitments, and the prerequisites for advanced courses and if necessary seek advice from the Program Advisor.
Workshops
There are no compulsory workshops in this program. However, students are advised that some business courses may require attendance at workshops.
Computer Equipment Resources
Students will require access to a computer and printer. Access to the Internet is also required for some courses. The suggested minimum requirement is an IBM compatible computer. If buying a new computer, students should purchase the best quality and highest capacity they can afford. CQUniversity campuses have computers, which may be accessed by students on a 24 hour basis.
Transitional Arrangements
Students enrolled before 2012 are allowed to complete their program in the existing structure if their remaining courses are still offered.
Students enrolling from Term 1 2012 must follow the new program structure as outlined in the Courses section.
