The first year of the program will be available internally at all regional campuses.  Second and third year courses may be required to be undertaken via a combination of workshops, internal classes and distance education.

Application for credit transfer

Credit transfer will only be granted where a student is able to demonstrate that tertiary studies equivalent in content and depth to a Bachelor of Business course has been completed. Students should examine the course synopses in this handbook to determine the courses from which they may be eligible to claim exemption. Refer to Credit for Previous Studies in the Admission and Enrolment section of the Handbook regarding the guidelines and requirements in applying for credit transfer.

Study Schedules

A recommended study schedule for this program can be obtained from your Program Advisor or the Faculty website. Students may determine their own schedule based upon credit transfers and personal study requirements. It is important to note that full-time students usually enrol in 4 courses per term and part-time students usually enrol in 2 courses per term.

For Program Planners please refer to the Faculty of Arts, Business, Informatics and Education website located at www.cqu.edu.au/fabieplannersandprogramchanges/.

Note: students must check to see when and where a course is offered before enrolling. See the course availability in this handbook for details.

Information for TAFE Students

CQUniversity recognises TAFE study as a pathway to University.  The University currently has a partnership arrangement with the Central Queensland Institute of TAFE (CQIT) whereby students who have completed a Diploma of Business or Diploma of Management at CQIT will be given direct entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Business program.

For more information about this partnership and how it may be of benefit to you, and details on how to apply, visit the TAFE to University website at http://content.cqu.edu.au/FCWViewer/view.do?page=13409

CQUniversity and Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE (SCIT) have also established a partnership to collaborate in the delivery of the Diploma of Tourisma and Diploma of Events and Bachelor of Business (Tourism) at SCIT's Noosa campus.  This arrangement will enable graduates of the SCIT Diploma of Tourism and Diploma of Events to articulate directly into University studies.

Diploma graduates can transition directly from SCIT into the second year of the CQUniversity Bachelor of Business (Tourism) specialisation.

Students can apply for entry into the program via the ‘Application for Admission - Undergraduate Direct Entry' form located at http://handbook.cqu.edu.au/FCWViewer/getFile.do?id=24374

Offshore Delivery Sites

Programs available at some offshore delivery sites are offered with the support of local education providers. Students should note that some programs are subject to articulation arrangements with the local institutions and that course and specialisation offerings are subject to availability at that location.
