| Professional Accreditation | Graduates are eligible to apply for provisional registration with the Queensland College of Teachers upon completion of the degree. Details of full registration requirements are provided on the Queensland College of Teachers website. |
| Residential School | Students electing to study in the distance education mode (external) are required to attend two compulsory Residential Schools per year of study. The first of these will be held in Orientation Week of each year of study and the second will be held prior to the commencement of Term 2. For more information refer to the More Details section. |
| Practicum/Work placement | Minimum of 80 days of assessed fieldwork with a Queensland registered teacher plus 25 days of Internship. |
