Career Opportunities

The Graduate Diploma and Master of Health Professional Education afford health professionals the opportunity to develop their clinical teaching skills and gain a formal qualification in teaching.   The student can then be regarded as having expertise in the area of health professional education. This allows them to be employed in leadership positions within clinical education in their health discipline.

The Graduate Diploma and Master of Health Professional Education are multidisciplinary programs aimed at providing educational pathways to health care professionals involved in teaching and learning in health care settings. The program aims to enable students to develop a sound working knowledge of adult learning principles in the context of contemporary health professional education, clinical reasoning and decision-making, evidence based and good practice in learning and teaching. The program also aims to allow students to cultivate educational leadership in a manner conducive to fostering scholarship, research and innovation in health professional education.
