CO57 - Miscellaneous Studies (Studies Abroad)

Program Aim

The Study Abroad program allows students currently enrolled in a bachelor or master degree level program overseas, to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate courses at CQUniversity from any available discipline area and receive credit towards their home university degree.  Students choose a Study Abroad program at CQUniversity because it will provide them with an opportunity to travel, to experience the Australian culture first-hand, to enhance employment potential, to change their study routine, to learn to think globally and to learn about themselves.  At CQUniversity campuses in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney, students can choose courses from a range of programs in Business and Information Technology.  At the Rockhampton campus the range of discipline areas include:  Business, Creative and Performing Arts, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Information Technology, Science and Environment.

Study Abroad suggested packages of courses available at the Rockhampton campus include:

  • Marine Science
  • Australian Conservation and Outdoor Pursuits
  • Australian Literature and Lifestyle
  • Aboriginal and Islander History
  • Creative Writing and Australian Geography.
Program Structure
Students complete up to 4 under graduate courses of 6 credit points (no less than 3 courses), or any 3 post graduate courses of 8 credit points in each term of enrolment.
