This program is designed to prepare graduate students for higher managerial responsibilities in commerce, industry or government.

It will expand the management knowledge of graduates from a wide variety of professions, particularly those who see their future prospects in the middle and top managerial positions of organisations.

Students must complete 6 courses.

• 5 elective postgraduate courses chosen from the Faculty of Arts, Business, Informatics and Education Restricted Postgraduate Electives page, provided prerequisites have been met; and
• 1 elective postgraduate course selected from any 8 credit point postgraduate course available at CQUniversity, provided prerequisties have been met.

Students wishing to specialise in a particular functional area can enrol in the available courses in that specialisation, while those seeking a broader base to their management education can enrol in a range of functional courses. Commencing students should consult the Postgraduate Program Advisor about a suitable program of study if they are concerned about setting a program that meets their needs, or if they are considering enrolling later in a masters degree program.
