In formulating their program of study candidates who are studying part-time by distance education should give consideration to their work and other commitments and the prerequisites for advanced courses, and if necessary seek advice from the Program Advisor.

Workshops

There are no compulsory workshops in this program. However, students are advised that some business courses may require attendance at workshops.

Computer equipment resources

Students will require access to a computer and printer. Access to the Internet is also required for some courses. The suggested minimum requirement is an IBM compatible computer. If buying a new computer, students should purchase the best quality and highest capacity they can afford. CQUniversity campuses have computers, which may be accessed by students on a 24 hour basis.

Transitional arrangements

During 2010 students currently enrolled in the E-Commerce Technology stream will be allowed to complete their degree as all but one course in that stream will still be available as they are used in other streams. Students wishing to enrol in ECOM20007 Developing E-Commerce Solutions will be directed to enrol in COIS20007 Problem-Based Industry Development B in order to graduate.

From 2010 students will no longer be allowed to enrol in the E-Commerce Technology stream.

Students have been previously informed that all Health Informatics courses were being phased out during 2008-2009.
