CO-PLANS FOR CQ26 BACHELOR OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
These co-plans have been selected to provide students with guidance in selecting a group of subjects that may assist in their career progression. These co-plans are approved, but they are optional. If a suitable combination of subjects is not available, please contact your Program Advisor via eForm to discuss customising a suite of courses to suit your needs or call the Student Contact Centre on 13 27 86 to get your Program Advisor to contact you.
A combination of courses other than these approved co-plans specified below will not show as a specialisation on your degree.

Environmental Studies
Co-plan description: Provides students with theoretical and practical skills for employment in fields related to ecologically sustainable development. The co-plan develops practical skills to solve environmental problems and provides an appreciation of the roles of environmental planning, environmental law and advocacy and lays the foundations for students to effectively communicate with environmental stakeholders. An increasing number of positions are becoming available in the areas of Safety, Health and the Environment with large industries including mining.
