Entry requirements
This program is open to students who have completed an undergraduate degree from a recognised higher education institution and who have achieved at least a credit average (grade point average of at least 5.5) in the discipline area in which they intend to study for Honours. In psychology, students must have completed an accredited undergraduate psychology program. In sociology, students must have completed the required courses marked with an asterisk (*) in the Sociology Plan in the BA or their equivalent.

Mid-year intake and external
Students normally enrol in Term 1 but in selected disciplines, students may enrol mid-year (Term 2). Students may also undertake their Honours program externally (subject to supervision and availability of resources).
