All students study in a 100% common first year and then a 75% common second year with a 25% discipline stream component. All students enrol in a common first year and then select a discipline stream.

The first two years of this program are common to CA87 – Bachelor of Engineering. Students in CA87 may be invited to transfer to the CF47 subject to their performance and the availability of industry placement places.
