Recognition of prior learning

Recognition of prior learning will only be granted where a student is able to demonstrate that tertiary study equivalent in content and depth to the CQU program has been successfully completed.  Students should examine the course synopses in the CQU handbook to determine the courses from which they may be able to claim exemption.  For more information about credit transfer contact the Program Advisor ahs-program2@cqu.edu.au or +61 07 49309862.

Computing requirements

It is a requirement of enrolment in this program that all students have access to the CQU website via the Internet.  Students may be required to undertake various components of study in the program using email and the Internet.

Entry requirements

Registered Nurses and other health care professionals who hold a bachelors degree or equivalent and who are are able to demonstrate that they are working in a speciality health care area and have completed either CQU Disciplinary Studies Speciality or a QH Transition program that has been approved by CQU or their equivalent. 

Please note: a university qualification is not required for entry into this program.
